What is the AURA project?
The AURA project is a multimedia dark fantasy fiction project which includes a novel series written by Adam Zavalney and a music project featuring Adam Zavalney (vocals/guitar) Brandon LaPlante (guitar) and Matthew Swangler (guitar).
The first book in the novel series is titled AURA: The Fall of Contuse and is planned (tentatively) for a 2018 release. No release date has been given for the corresponding music side of the project.
AURA: The Fall of Contuse synopsis:
In a forgotten time, in a parallel world, a wanderer travels through the wilderness. The Aura Guild is in pursuit as he tries to escape his past. A young prince faces the darkness of losing his wife, as he rises to power. A witch struggles between her destiny with her Coven and the overwhelming burden of loving two men on different paths. An enchanted villain and his band of followers try to lift a terrible curse that has befallen them. The city of Contuse has many secrets to share. Will the Light World prevail, or will the Dark World seep through the cracks and poison all that it touches? Only time will tell who’s Aura will be lifted to the highest of heights, and who’s will be forever lost from the realm of Matka.
